The Katarata Collective is a pilot study that a group of colleagues decided to develop over a period of time. During the 2020–2022 pandemic, the Collective was reorganized to create animations for various international clients.
A total of seven projects were developed together, offering a truly rewarding experience of learning and growth in the world of animation. Working as a team with real clients, we divided tasks and tested our skills in a practical environment. Throughout the process, we focused on leveraging our best attributes and learning from both our colleagues and client interactions. It was a journey that, without a doubt, was worth the effort. The team initially consisted of five members: Cris Neme, Iulia Draguta, Stephie Cavina, Florian Kempt, and Ender Yildizhan. Over time, some members had to reduce their involvement, with Stephie, Iulia, and Cris remaining full-time. To the left, you can see the logo and a collage featuring the members of Katarata. |
Ema's Story & Nick's Story: These two videos were part of the St. Johns Series, featuring teenagers and young adults who were cancer patients as children, sharing their personal journeys. The animations illustrate the activities and experiences they missed out on during their healing process. They also convey the emotional challenges they faced and how these experiences ultimately transformed them, empowering them to overcome their struggles.
